18-20 Aug '10: Meet SCA at the World Expo
World Expo 2010 in Shanghai is expected to be the biggest expo ever with more than 200 countries and international organizations participating. SCA is official partner of the Swedish pavilion.
The World Expo 2010 will run between May 1 and October 31, 2010 with estimated 70 million visitors mostly from China. The theme for 2010 is “Better City, Better Life” focusing on better living conditions in cities as an answer to the explosive population growth.
SCA is official partner of the Swedish pavilion, as the exhibition’s theme is clearly aligned with SCA’s focus on sustainability and innovation. At the same time, the event is an opportunity for SCA to strengthen business relationships in China, and build brand awareness.
VIP event
August 18, 19 and 20, 2010 as well as September 20, 2010 you are welcome to join SCA's VIP event in the Swedish World Expo pavilion.
The Swedish pavilion
Swedish architects Sweco stand for the design of the 3,000 square metre Swedish pavilion. The overall message is “Spirit of Innovation” with a sustainable approach that includes environmental technologies, social and economic aspects.
The Swedish pavilion, built as a temporary building, contains an exhibition, VIP area and other facilities such as offices for all partner companies. 16 companies are partners or sponsors of the Swedish pavilion, amongst them Volvo, Ericsson, IKEA, SKF and Atlas Copco.
